Back to school… still need to update the site with my most recent adventures (not to mention the wedding from October:-D), but here’s a little bit of what is to come in this, my LAST semester!!

This will eventually manifest into a small book; each picture is going to be folded in half, so it will be 6 pages. These are “found” objects (mostly found in my purse as I never know what nonsense is in there) photoshopped onto a scanned version of my wheat paste acrylic painting.

Editing a Wedding

So I was the photographer at my uncle’s wedding on October 1st and now I’m faced with a ton of photos to go through and edit, while continuing with my school projects. So far I had weeded through all the photos and ended up (roughly) with 343 pictures; today I have edited 68 pictures so I am roughly 19% done with jut basic edits. Once I through with those I will then be faced re-sizing all the pictures to manageable file sizes for my uncle. I love this business, but I’m going to have my work cut out for me for the next couple of weeks. I can’t wait for the finished product though! They are going to love these photos:-)

I found 700 pictures from a Baltimore shoot (for fun) on my Nikon SD card. I can’t believe I hadn’t transferred these pictures to my external hard drive. These pictures are from 4/17/11 and I didn’t find them until 9/24/11… I guess that just means I lean more towards my Canon.

We are not human beings having a spiritual experience. We are spiritual beings having a human experience.

A photograph that popped up when Google imaging black and white photography.

Holgaroid mistake, badly re-photographed with my crappy phone:-(

Holgaroid Crazy!

Finally attached my Polaroid backing onto my Holga 120. The first pack of film is mostly mistakes, but the first 4-5 look like strange ultrasounds. (I will post them when I get my hands on a scanner.) What happened with those pictures though was I pulled the white tab and as soon as the other tab came out I started pulling that instead. The white tab was then sucked back in the camera and imprinted on the negative which developed that part of the film, so it’s a big white and grayish rectangle with a bright white dot somewhere in the frame.

Patapsco with my lensbaby.

Lensbaby

Got a lensbaby Composer from my amazing boyfriend for Valentines day:-) It’s great! I got a few pictures in Old Ellicott City today and they are just… great. More photo shoots will ensue with my lensbaby.

Lo-Fi

I am really starting to get into lo-fi photography. I’ve already got a a holga and for Christmas I got a Polaroid back attachment for it; I plan on getting so many more attachments and accessories. I also found out that there is such thing as a holga tlr :-O

Here’s some good lo-fi photography I found:
